Million Dollar View

The view from the north terrace of The Banff Springs Hotel on Sulphur Mountain has awed visitors since the hotel opening in 1888. The splendid vista, popularly called A MILLION DOLLAR VIEW, overlooks the Bow River as it winds through The Banff Springs Golf Course between the steep slopes of Tunnel Mountain and Mt. Rundle, and out to the distant peaks of The Fairholm Range and Mt. Aylmer.
