Mount Assiniboine

Assiniboine's spectacular Materhorn-like peak is easily recognized towering above all the local mountain peaks at 11,860 ft (3,618 m). Not accessible by road, the ambitious wilderness seeker arrives here by a challenging hike, horseback or the modern helicopter route. This watercolor painting depicts the pristine view of the alpine wildflowers and Lake Magog below the towering peak.
