Waterton Panorama
Nestled against the Continental Divide in Southwestern Alberta, Waterton Lakes National Park is a jewel in the Rockies. An international boundary runs between the Waterton Lakes National Park in Canada and Glacier National Park in the United States. Together the Waterton Glacier International Peace Park was created in 1932, and was most recently designated as a World Heritage Site.
In the foreground of the cover painting is the Bear Grass wildflower which is unique to this area. Beyond is the historic Prince of Wales Hotel, Waterton Townsite and the spectacular upper Waterton Lake framed by its towering Peaks.
